Retro Disney favorite photos: Behind the facade that’s no longer there …

Today, I’m continuing to re-post a favorite photo from Walt Disney World … and it’s a a look behind a façade that’s no longer there. The original caption: “Here’s what it looks like behind the facades of some of the building in the Streets of America at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. I got this shot Feb. 8, 2015, during a long weekend we took at Walt Disney World. Look at the bottom right and you’ll see the sign for the delightfully low-key “Writer’s Stop.” It’s a café that doesn’t get too much traffic. UPDATE: The “Writer’s Stop” is no longer open, but the facade still stood on March 6, 2017. Click here for what the facade looked like on March 6, 2017 and the surrounding construction area that has consumed the Streets of America and “Writer’s Stop” … | Click here for a better shot of the Writer’s Stop café… | Finally, click here to see what was built there …” As we won’t be back at Walt Disney World for some time – between the coronavirus alert and the fact that our annual passes expired and we haven’t renewed. (Remember: Click on the small image for a bigger version – then click on that one for the full-size photo.)
