Try this flick … “The Wild Geese.” Here’s a film with A-list stars (Richard Burton, Richard Harris and Roger Moore), yet one that shouldn’t have been made. “The Wild Geese” is about a group of “good” mercenaries on a mission to help a black leader in southern Africa. Sigh. In “The Wild Geese,” the stereotypes overwhelm; all three headliners are too old for their characters; the production stinks; and the story isn’t just farfetched, it’s an amazing insult to your intelligence. However, I’m sure some of you will watch “The Wild Geese.” Well, that’s on you, not me.
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog.
