Looking on the big screen at your home today, I’ll recommend, with trepidation, a stinker called “The Adventures of Ford Fairlane.” It is what was supposed to be Andrew Dice Clay’s big breakout film with him as the headliner. “Ford Fairlane” turned out to be a clunker on the cinema highway and in competition for one of the 10 worst-ever films in Hollywood history. I’m not blaming Andrew Dice Clay for “Ford Fairlane” as he is who he is and makes no bones (or apologies about it), but the entire filmmaking crew. “Ford Fairlane’s” worst actors, Gilbert Gottfried and Ed O’Neill, should have surrendered their SAG cards because what they did was a crime against cinema and not an attempt at acting. In any case, “Ford Fairlane” is so pathetic that you need to watch it.
I’m sure that “The Adventures of Ford Fairlane” is easier to find than any better movie, so make plans for it ahead of time on your “big screen” at home!
