Closed Captioning … where a person becomes a ‘peon’

My latest post today about the ignorance shown by closed captioning turns a person into a “peon.” Yes, it’s just another example of how voice recognition makes a mockery of the content being presented. In this example from a re-run of the “Matlock” drama on MeTV, you’ll find a “person” becoming the “peon” if you don’t have the audio turned up. The the crappy CC just continues to show how horrible it can present content to the viewer. I got this shot off our television on Oct. 6, 2022, in our family room here in Naples, Fla.
