I’m not usually a person to care much about getting a little wet from rain, but I did find myself waiting in my vehicle today (Saturday, Oct. 5, 2024) for a “gullywasher” to let up to get back into our house here in Naples, Fla. We also have a new tropical system (“Milton”) headed our way and forecast to be a 110 mph hurricane when it hits Florida’s west coast near us on Wednesday.
