Today, Feb. 20, is the annual “Clean Out Your Bookcase Day” for 2025. Some folks and websites say to “spruce up” your bookcase by not just cleaning, but by decorating, too. Sorry, but the three bookcases in our house are full and other books are in storage in a closet! I enjoy keeping the bookcases clean and once a year dry-wiping the books themselves, but other than put a model tank in the notch where I have a few paperbacks, I don’t “decorate.” Now, our living room bookcase (large, three-section) has some decoration, but that’s it. Here you see the bookcase in our family room as I’m preparing for this morning’s cleaning with Pledge and a microfiber towel. Oh, the model of a tank you see in this photo is a World War II-era Russian T34/85 that I built.
