We are back in the season to enjoy the beautiful blooms of many plants, bushes and trees … but I consider none more beautiful than a Tabebuia. The yellow bloom is just perfect and sets a wonderful visual theme for the coming spring … and The Masters golf tournament! Augusta National Golf Club’s holes are named for flowers and bushes, but none called Tabebuia … the closest being the famous No. 12, par-3 hole called Golden Bell. I used to have a favorite Tabebuia tree near our home here in Naples, Fla., but Hurricane Ian doomed it and it was removed. I got this shot of a different Tabebuia tree near our home today (Tuesday, March 19, 2025) in the Four Seasons neighborhood.
