Today (Thursday, April 24, 2025), for the second-straight day, the North Collier Fire Control & Rescue District has been utilizing the parking lot of the Our Savior Lutheran Church for training exercises. I haven’t been able to see any exercises in progress in my quick drive-past the church moments, but it’s nice to see the department out and in the community for something more than an emergency! I’ve most often seen the department’s vehicles at an annual showcase at the Headquarters branch of the Collier County Public Library. I got this shot by stopping along the little-traveled road next to the church.
