I’ve been amused in recent months by how many national/international “Days” there are to be celebrated. From the usual holidays to even such “days” as “Slide Rule Day,” we tend to celebrate everything! Well, today (Thursday, April 24, 2025) is national “Pigs in a Blanket Day!” Yes, a celebration of that wonderful appetizer that some use to make a meal. A family member is said to have “food groups” that include chips-n-dip and pigs in a blanket. I got this shot here in Naples, Fla., as we celebrated Easter with a family brunch. Of course, chips-n-dip and pigs in a blanket were served! (Remember: Click on the small image for a bigger version – then click on that one for the full-size photo.)
