After decades of driving in South Florida, I am just now beginning to use a sun shade in my vehicle. I’ve gotten tired of how hot the interior of a vehicle can be with just a few hours in the sun. Here’s a shot I got today (Tuesday, July 15, 2025) after I put up the sunshade after parking at home in Naples, Fla. I was running a midday errand will be going out later and expect to find a cooler interior … although no vehicle is truly “cool” on the inside on a summer’s day here in South Florida.
