We bought a new stove in November 2025 and ever since have had to be careful about even slightly touching the far-left burner knob: It all too easily moves and begins heating! No other knobs have the same issue. We noticed almost immediately that even brushing past would turn on the burner. Well, it’s been three months and our solution turned out to be simple: A piece of tape stretched between the two knobs prevents accidental turn-ons. I got this shot this morning (Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026) at our home here in Naples, Fla. (Remember: Click on the small image for a bigger version – then click on that one for the full-size photo.)
