Thank goodness! We’re back to Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) and this morning (Sunday, March 8, 2026) brought an end to early darkness each day. It’s tough to go back each fall to Eastern Standard Time (EST) because of the early darkness, but today, we’re back in the later sunlight game. I got this shot of complete darkness at just before 7 a.m. today. Obviously, the contrast is stark between the light inside our house here in Naples, Fla., and the darkness outside.
