As we’re fully invested in spring now for 2026, we’re getting more blooms on our patio plants and the plants and bushes on the perimeter of our home here in Naples, Fla. For today, here’s Bloom No. 1: It’s the bloom on our Plumeria! I had previously not seen a bloom on the Plumeria, just its distinctive leaf structure. Overall, the plant is never as lush as a croton or hibiscus, but it is striking in its starkness until the beauty of the bloom arrives. I got this shot with my Nikon D5200 DSLR camera on April 23, 2026.)
