Here’s the view from our pool at just before 12:30 p.m. today (Tuesday, May 12, 2026). It is a simply wonderful time to go swimming: hot enough at near 90 degrees – up into the mid-90s with the heat index – and the water is hitting the mid-80s. We were forecast to get some rain later today, but that forecast has been pushed back to tomorrow. So, the sun and evaporation will continue to lower the level of the pool, but it’s great fun to get wet today!
