Each day of the year, there’s a designation in honoring or remembering something. However, a “Tulip Day” can be found for many days throughout the winter/spring calendar. So, today is May 13, 2026, and each May 13, there are celebrations somewhere in honor and enjoyment of the beautiful tulip. My wife’s favorite flower is a tulip and here’s an arrangement of them I bought this week as a present for today’s “Tulip Day.” The bulbs are still slightly closed because I prefer have them open and be enjoyable for more days than if I purchased an arrangement with the bulbs in full bloom. I took this photo yesterday (Tuesday, May 12, 2026) at our home here in Naples, Fla.
