Hallelujah! I have my Rolex Submariner watch back, after it was in for maintenance since the end of March! Rolex watches require periodic maintenance – Rolex recommends every 10 years. It was about 12 years for my Submariner and such maintenance takes up to two months to complete by a trained technician. Provident Jewelry here in Naples, Fla., on Fifth Avenue South completed the maintenance and I give them a big salute! I also give a big salute to the wonderful Casio MDV106-1A sports model that I bought as the pinch-hitting watch while my Rolex was away. The Casio was attractive and kept great time. I put the maintenance paperwork away with the complete provenanceof my Submariner, as such provenance is important is maintaining value of your watch. The paperwork is already back in our safe deposit box. I took this photo yesterday (Tuesday, June 9, 2026) at our home here in Naples, Fla., before returning the paperwork to the bank.
