I have to note that I enjoy puns, so here’s today’s winner: It’s a bit “chili” here in Southwest Florida. Yes, I made my “three-chili pepper chili” today (Monday, July 13, 2026) and it obviously has three peppers: Habanero, Serrano and Jalepeño … except today, I had to substitute long hot peppers for the Jalepeño. For some reason, our nearby supermarket (Publix at Naples Walk) was sold-out of the Jalepeño peppers. Ah well, I’ll certainly make chili again and it will again be “chili” in Naples!
