The parking lot between the North Collier Government Center and the Headquarters branch of the Collier County Public Library remains an ongoing source of interesting vehicles from vintage automobiles to muscle cars to modern supercars. Today (Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2026) I spotted this nice 1963 Ford Country Squire station wagon when I went to get an updated beach parking sticker for one of our vehicles. The station wagon (remember those; the “soccer moms’” choice before minivans) has the distinctive wood paneling that Ford offered on some models until 1991. There’s an old joke about two idiots who bought a Country Squire model; got it home; and then said they liked it better “in the box!” 😊 Click here to see all my photos of vintage cars, muscle cars and supercars … (Remember: Click on the small image for a bigger version – then click on that one for the full-size photo.)
