I already posted about Halloween in August and today (Monday, Aug. 31, 2026) I’m showing you Christmas in August: We received our artificial tree (no “fake” tree, you understand 😊) and tested it to make sure it will work when it goes up “officially” the day after Thanksgiving. It is 7.5 feet tall and lights go from white to multi-color to a combination of both and blinking lights for both. It is our first artificial Christmas tree ever in our house (well, the main Christmas tree – we have a few small artificial trees as other holiday decorations). I took this photo at our home here in Naples, Fla., yesterday (Sunday, Aug. 30, 2026) before it was re-packed into its shipping box.
