Here’s my nineteenth post in pointing up “Naples Driving Lessons.” Today? Here’s how to properly drive a T-handled scooter both dangerously and illegally. The collage of photos here was captured on my dashcam yesterday (Saturday, May 16, 2026) as I was driving near our home here in Naples, Fla. There was a line of vehicles waiting to enter the obviously popular Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park at 8 a.m. You can see the scooter and its driver and rider emerge at the top of the bridge. They then “scooted” down, riding on the double-yellow highway line divider. Uh, oh! Both senselessly dangerous and being a scofflaw, to boot!
