Here’s the fourth in my series of “Naples Driving Lessons” … at No. 4: How to properly run a red light. Most red-light runners fall into two categories – the first being careless and the second being entitled to a few extra seconds. Then you have complete idiots such as this fool that I caught on my dash cam on Jan. 4, 2023, while driving home from work here in Naples, Fla. The idiot blew the red light really, really late (note the green for traffic headed in the direction I was headed) and entered the intersection two seconds after his or her light went red. This fool is a perfect example why you need to be careful even when you have a green light.
