If you didn’t realize it already, I will say that a contrail is one of my favorite subjects to photograph and post on my blog. I got this shot of a contrail over our home here in Naples, Fla., yesterday (Monday, June 1, 2026) and, since I don’t have an ultra-wide angle lens on my camera or iPhone, it was impossible to show this contrail that stretched far across the sky. Contrails are fascinating and make for interesting images. Oh, the edge of the roof of our home can be seen in the bottom left of the photo.
